U.S. President Donald Trump’s latest set of tariff hikes has provoked heated objections from America’s trading partners.

The administration launched new duties tied to countries’ imports of goods made with forced labor, replacing a 10 percent tariff immediately after it expired.

The move is the first step in efforts to rebuild his near-global tariff wall after the Supreme Court in February struck down his "reciprocal" duties.
